White Lodging is pleased to announce updates for its food and beverage concepts at the highly anticipated Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection. Plaza San Antonio will feature two food and beverage concepts open to the community and hotel guests: Corinne San Antonio and Anaqua Garden Bar. An opening date for the restaurant, garden bar and hotel will be announced at a later date.

Corinne San Antonio will offer uncomplicated food, prepared simply. This elevated dining experience overlooks a reimagined garden oasis and will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Corinne San Antonio weaves together classic American food with South Texas and Gulf Coast influences making the restaurant a one-of-a-kind dining concept in San Antonio. Corinne will feature a carefully curated menu and an extensive cocktail and mocktail program alongside beer and wine. The menu features items such as its Green Posole Roasted Chicken, a Kampachi Fillet, Longbone Pork Ribeye and Rosewood Ranch Wagyu to name a few.

The restaurant will be led by Executive Chef Joseph Krauss, who comes to the Plaza San Antonio with 15 years of experience in the culinary industry.

“The menu, the atmosphere, the location – it’s going to be like nothing else in San Antonio,” said Chef Krauss. “We’re having a blast developing the scratch-made food and robust cocktail menus, and we can’t wait to introduce Corinne and Anaqua Garden Bar to our guests.”

Corinne San Antonio will be the go-to location for weekend brunch featuring savory and sweet dishes. For those looking for a more intimate setting, Corinne San Antonio will offer a variety of private dining options perfect for celebrating with friends and family.

The hotel’s other concept, Anaqua Garden Bar, is a sanctuary in the shade nestled in the property’s historic grounds. Named after the property’s historic 42-foot tall Anaqua tree, the bar overlooks the hotel’s outdoor pool and is surrounded by greenery, creating a Zen oasis for guests to enjoy. Guests can bask in the beauty of the lush greenery year round on Anaqua’s outdoor patio, beautifully lit by hanging lanterns hanging amongst the trees, or retreat to the heated covered patio. Anaqua Garden Bar will feature a fusion of Japanese foodways with Latin tradition to create an elevated menu incorporating flavors such as yuzu, yakiniku sauce, sesame ponzu, gochujang, miso, togarashi, and wakame. These flavors are paired perfectly with Latin foods such as tostadas, pepitas, jicama, street corn, and chiles to create a truly unique, light and beautiful menu.

The garden bar’s beverage program is the perfect compliment to the signature dishes. Inventive botanical-forward cocktails shape the beverage menu and elevate the distinctive flavor profiles. The bar’s signature cocktail, Anaqua’s House of Don Ramon, will be an elevated twist on the classic piña colada.
