Steve Handler

Mr. Handler joined White Lodging in 1994 and currently oversees the project accounting department which provides accounting and reporting for all hotels in the development/construction phase. He also oversees the cash management process for the hotels and corporate office which involves the movement of cash for investment purposes, intercompany reimbursements and any other needs. He is directly responsible for the review, issuance and filing of year-end financial statements and tax returns prepared internally and by public accountants. He is also involved with obtaining construction funding and permanent financing. Mr. Handler graduated with honors with a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana and is a Certified Public Accountant. He’s a member of the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was an inaugural member of the CashPro Advisory Board for LaSalle Bank, now Bank of America, and is currently a member of the U.S. Bank Voice of the Customer panel, providing feedback to the bank with other key customers.
