Steve Ransone

Vice President, Talent and Organizational Capability

Mr. Ransone is responsible for leading a high performing recruitment and retention effort that will meet the company’s goal of doubling its assets in the next five years. He started his career with White Lodging as the GM of the Courtyard Indianapolis Downtown hotel and then continued on as the opening Director of Human Resources at the award-winning Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. He most recently served as GM of the Courtyard Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel as well as White Lodging’s account executive for Michigan State University, in which the company was recently named Industry Partner of the Year. Mr. Ransone holds a bachelor of science in Business Management from the University of Baltimore. He most recently served on the boards of the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association, Help Ease Local Poverty in Chicago and the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association Charitable Foundation. Additionally, he has also held part-time teaching assignments at IUPUI in Indianapolis in their Tourism and Convention Management Program.
