Mike Wernet

Vice President of Asset Management

Mike Wernet joined the WLS team in 1993 and has served as the Vice President of Asset Management for White Lodging Services for the last 3 years. Prior to joining WLS, he was with Marriott Corporation for five years where he held various accounting, food and beverage and operations management positions. He is responsible for representing and advising ownership on all strategic decisions across a diverse portfolio of 90 hotels and 15 brands. He is a member of the Hospitality Asset Manager’s Association (HAMA), the Appraisal Institute and the Institute of Real Estate Managers (IREM). He received a B.S degree in Hotel Management from the United States International University. In addition, he received a A.A.S from Triton College in Hotel/Restaurant Management where he currently serves on the advisory board for their hospitality program. He is also a member of the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations.
