
Mr. Grippo joined White Lodging in February 2006 to ensure the overall achievement of rooms and catering sales, top line budgets and RevPar goals for approximately 65 hotels. He is directly responsible for filling open positions through topgrading, maintaining internal consistency and alignment, managing profitability and determining the topline sales budget for openings, takeovers and conversions. Additional strategic initiatives include the annual business plan, market and reactive sales, and driving the sales culture. Previously, Mr. Grippo served with Marriott International in various positions, most recently as Director of Marriott’s New Jersey Sales Office, where he was responsible for the sales and service of 26 Marriott hotels. Career highlights include being awarded the Sales Team of the Year for the Mid-Atlantic in 2000 for the JW Marriott Washington DC Sales team, Marriott International’s Chairman’s Circle and President’s Circle and Sales Manager of the Year – Caribbean Latin America Region in 1995. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved with ASAE, PCMA, MPI and Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington. He received a B.A. in Communications from Rutgers University.
