Kevin Grandin

Regional Vice President, Region 1

Mr. Grandin has held his current position since 1996, overseeing the financial and operational performance of 27 hotels throughout the state of Texas. He is directly involved in promoting organizational alignment ensuring that the company’s business strategy is understood and followed in all hotels. Mr. Grandin successfully oversaw the opening of the unique Courtyard and Residence Inn Austin Downtown Convention project in 2006, first of its kind for the Austin area. Previously, he was employed with Marriott International for 13 years, where he held several key operations positions for the Marriott full-service and Courtyard brands. Mr. Grandin received a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. He serves on the board for Austin Sports Commission and also a member of the Courtyard and SpringHill Suites Systems Standards Committees.
