Chef Patrick Miranda Appointed as Sous Chef for Sonoma’z Wine Bar & Grill at the Denver Marriott South Hotel

Chef Miranda brings 5 years of culinary experience to Sonoma’z

Denver, Colo. - (June 11, 2013): Denver Marriott South hotel and White Lodging are pleased to announce the recent appointment of Patrick Miranda as Sous Chef at the restaurant Sonoma’z Wine Bar & Grill.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Chef Miranda as our Sous Chef at Sonoma’z,” said Brian Lenfestey, general manager of the hotel. “In addition to his culinary expertise, Chef Miranda’s passion for cooking and creativity will help to provide our guests with an excellent dining experience.”

Chef Miranda brings approximately five years of culinary experience to Sonoma’z, with a professional chef certification from The Italian Culinary Academy in New York and Parma, Italy. His career began in New York, and eventually moved to Denver working for multiple restaurants including Charlie Palmer’s Metrazur, Duo, Olivea’ and most recently served as the Sous Chef at Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen.

“I feel I have a rare opportunity here to provide the same quality and service to guests in this area as I have in New York and downtown Denver,” said Chef Miranda. “I am joining a team that has been working together for a long time and has established a great base of operations. I can only look forward to working with them and continuing to elevate Sonoma’z in the Denver culinary scene.”

The restaurant recently opened up their summer patio for the annual Summer Nights on the Patio music series. The patio will feature live music from local artists from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays until Labor Day weekend. The artist line-up currently includes music by Dave Connelly, Randy Rigby, Jack Hadley, Marlo Mortensen and Michael Engberg.
