Airport hotel boasts new guestrooms and public space
Merrillville, Ind. – Dec. 19, 2012 – White Lodging Services and RLJ Lodging Trust are pleased to announce the completion of a full property renovation of all 200 guestrooms, concierge lounge, lobby, banquet space, restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center and business center at the Chicago Marriott Midway.
The hotel, located at 6520 S. Cicero Ave. in Bedford Park, Ill., completed the multimillion dollar renovation Sept. 30, 2012. Designed with the traveler in mind, the new guest rooms are the epitome of comfort and productivity with new carpet, wall vinyl, curtains, artwork, bed linens, wireless internet, HD signal, Marriott refreshing mint bedding decor package, and guest bathrooms that boast granite countertops.
The lobby now has the Marriott Great Room concept centering around a fireplace with an open floor plan connecting the lobby to the bar. A similar lighting set up and feel can be experienced in the concierge lounge.
Carefully chosen artwork and new chandelier shades adorn the new ballroom for guests to enjoy the breathtaking and stunning atmosphere.
