HILTON GARDEN INN CHICAGO-SCHAUMBURG OPENS IN CHICAGOLAND AREA EXPANDING WHITE LODGING’S FOOTPRINT

MERRILLVILLE, IN (November 03, 2008) – White Lodging opened a 166-room Hilton Garden Inn (1191 Woodfield Rd.) in Schaumburg, IL last week adding to the company’s impressive growing portfolio of more than 139 hotels in seventeen states nationwide. This is the first Hilton affiliated newly constructed hotel in the greater Schaumburg area in the past 20 years.

With more than 20 years of expertise and future development projects in excess of $1.5 billion opening over the next five years, White Lodging continues to break ground as one of the fastest-growing independent hospitality companies in the country. In May 2008, White Lodging received Hilton’s prestigious Developer of the Year award for the Hilton Garden Inn brand and has developed and/or opened 16 Hilton affiliated hotels in the last three years (including 11 Hilton Garden Inns).

He has received numerous accolades throughout his career including recognition as Marriott International’s 2005 Courtyard Opening GM of the Year. Lucy Raymond joins the Hilton Garden Inn Schaumburg team as Cluster Director of Sales, where she will take on additional duties at the Hilton Garden Inn as well as maintain sales efforts at three other hotels in the greater Schaumburg area.
