CHIP YOUNG APPOINTED TO LEAD GROWTH OF
REGION SIX HOTELS
AS VICE PRESIDENT
A 35-year industry veteran, Young to oversee growth in southwestern states
MERRILLVILLE, IN (October 06, 2008) – One of the fastest growing independent hospitality, development and management companies in the country, White Lodging recently appointed Chip Young to the position of Regional Vice President for Region 6 where he will oversee operational and financial performances of White Lodging hotels throughout Colorado, Texas, Utah and Arizona.

An industry veteran, Young has led a very distinguished career joining the organization with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In the mid-90’s Young worked for White Lodging as Area Manager and was involved in launching key programs and initiatives for the development of associates and internal consistency. Additionally, he was involved in the development and implementation of the company’s quality improvement process – a process still used today. The company is divided into seven regions based on the location of cluster hotels found throughout the different states and developments slated within each area.
Most recently, Young served as Vice President of Operations for Presidian, a hotel development and management company. Young has held numerous positions at both full- and select-service hotels and has represented major brands including Marriott, Hilton, and La Quinta as well as independent properties. Additionally, he worked for Marriott International for over 17 years in various roles. Young’s hands-on approach has yielded a strong track record of delivering results and driving positive performance.
