NEW HILTON GARDEN INN OPENS IN DETROIT AREA
Novi, Mich., property is White Lodging’s 15th Hilton-affiliated hotel

MERRILLVILLE, IN (August 28, 2008) –White Lodging teamed up with Michigan-based Etkin Equities to open a 148-room Hilton Garden Inn in Novi, Mich., last week adding to the company’s impressive growing portfolio of more than 132 hotels in seventeen states nationwide.

With more than 20 years of expertise and future development projects in excess of $2 billion opening over the next five years, White Lodging continues to break ground as one of the fastest growing independent hospitality companies in the country.

In May 2008, White Lodging received Hilton’s prestigious Developer of the Year award for the Hilton Garden Inn brand at Hilton’s annual Focused Service Brand Owners’ Conference held in Dallas. White Lodging has developed and/or opened 15 Hilton affiliated hotels in the last three years (including 10 Hilton Garden Inns) with an additional five slated for opening over the next 30 months.

Bridget Graff, former general manager of the SpringHill Suites in Southfield, Mich., will be general manager of the hotel which provides guests with a full array of services and modern amenities including complimentary high-speed Internet access, a 24-hour executive business center, HD flat screen televisions, an indoor swimming pool and exercise room and flexible private meeting spaces ranging from 300- to 2,100-square feet.

The hotel also offers many amenities that cater specifically to Japanese business executives including TV Japan and traditional Japanese breakfast items, due to the area’s heavy concentration of Japanese companies such as Toyota Boshoku, Nissan, Kawasaki, and Hitachi.
