WHITE LODGING CONTINUES TO EXPAND CHICAGO’S MIDWAY HOTEL CENTER,
HIRES GENERAL MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF SALES

AUSTIN, TX (May 30, 2008) – White Lodging announced today the opening of the 117-room Hilton Garden Inn Austin North hotel, representing another addition to the company’s growing collection of more than 130 hotels across North America.

MERRILLVILLE, IN (May 21, 2008) – One of the country’s fastest growing independent hospitality, development and management companies, White Lodging recently announced the appointment of Eddie Adair as General Manager of the Chicago Marriott Midway Hotel and Jeff Hess as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for the company’s entire Midway Hotel Center in Chicago.

Comprised of seven hotels – with two more under development – the Midway Hotel Center campus is just a stone’s throw from Chicago’s Midway Airport and offers a choice of seven hotels in a central, campus-like setting. Guests can choose from Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Sleep Inn, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites. A Holiday Inn and Residence Inn by Marriott are anticipating a late 2008 opening, bringing the complex’s total to nine hotels offering over 1,300 rooms and more than 14,000 of event space for special occasions.

A Texas native, Eddie Adair joined the White Lodging team in 2000 as the resident manager of the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown hotel. He also served as the Opening General Manager of the hotel’s restaurant, Circle City Bar and Grille. He went on to serve as General Manager of the 236-room Courtyard by Marriott in Indianapolis as well as the attached TGIFriday’s Restaurant before accepting the position of general manager of the Marriott Midway Hotel. Over the years, Adair has received numerous accolades, including Marriott’s International Hotel Opening of the Year and Franchise Opening of the Year awards.

As Area Director of Sales and Marketing for the entire Midway Hotel Center, Jeff Hess will be responsible for overseeing the sales force at each of the area’s nine hotels. Hess came to White Lodging after working as director of sales at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand and Suites Hotel and comes at an exciting time as the company plans to add 129 new hotels, 2,500 new managers, and $1.5b in managed sales to its portfolio over the next five years. Hess is a member of Meeting Professionals International, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, and the Professional Convention Management Association.
