WHITE LODGING HONORS OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AT ANNUAL GENERAL MANAGER’S AWARDS CEREMONY

MERRILLVILLE, IN (May 13, 2008) – More than 120 hotel general managers throughout the United States gathered at the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville, IN, last month to honor outstanding individuals as part of White Lodging’s annual General Manager’s Awards Banquet.

Held in conjunction with the company’s three-day General Manager’s Conference, the ceremony celebrates top leaders and individuals at all levels of hotel operations for their contributions and achievements, including Food & Beverage, Front Desk, Accounting, Sales, Housekeeping, Internal Audit, Maintenance and Revenue Management.

“It is an honor to recognize these outstanding individuals on a job well done,” stated Jon Peck, Chief Operating Officer of White Lodging’s Hospitality Management Division. “Our goal is to be a great management company and the dedication of each of these individuals and their teams enable us to achieve that vision.”

Top achievers this year included Mary Pat Hartmann, General Manager of the Residence Inn Louisville Downtown, KY who was named White Lodging’s “General Manager of the Year” in addition to “Extended Stay GM of the Year.” Dave Kennedy, General Manager of the Renaissance Boulder Suites at Flatiron, CO took home the “Full Service GM of the Year” award, while Linda Hunt of the Residence Inn Warrenville, IL was named “Select Service GM of the Year.”

Additionally, top performing hotel teams were recognized including Boulder Marriott as “Full Service Property of the Year;” Courtyard by Marriott Louisville, CO as “Select Service Property of the Year;” and the Residence Inn Mount Olive, NJ as “Extended Stay Property of the Year.”
