WHITE LODGING APPOINTS CHRIS O'DONNELL TO GENERAL MANAGER OF NEW COURTYARD/FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES CHANDLER ARIZONIA
Unique Co-Hotels Development Set to in Open September

CHANDLER, AZ   (April 30, 2009) – White Lodging of Merrillville, IN is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris O’Donnell as General Manager for the Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites Phoenix Chandler/Fashion Center, a unique two-in-one hotel development.

“Chris’ experience in operations combined with his sales background makes him the ideal choice to oversee our newest two-in-one development,” stated Jon Peck, COO of White Lodging’s Hospitality Management Division.

O’Donnell joined White Lodging in 2007 as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Farmington hotel in Connecticut.  Prior to White Lodging, he worked for Marriott International as general manager of the Residence Inn Long Island Hauppauge, regional sales specialist for Marriott’s eastern regional office, where he partnered with the sales leadership team to create a comprehensive development program for sales managers currently used to train and develop new managers today.  He also worked as sales manager for the Residence Inn Boston – Westborough.  Additionally, O’Donnell is a Marriott International certified facilitator for some of its training courses including extend stay sales edge and mission possible. 

Scheduled to open in September, the uniquely designed Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is sure to turn heads with its striking architecture, stylish interior design and a host of amenities to accommodate business travelers and tourists alike.  The two-in-one hotel is joined together by facilities including an expansive fitness center boasting top-of-the-line equipment, business centers, meeting rooms and more.  Each hotel will have a separate covered entrance located on a common plaza. 

The hotel complex will be located within the Chandler Centerpoint Business Center in the heart of Chandler’s expanding corporate office district and just minutes from the Chandler Fashion Center, restaurants and other area attractions. 

This hotel project marks White Lodging’s fourth dual-hotel development of its kind.  The company opened the first one - the Courtyard/Residence Inn Austin Downtown in 2006 and went on to develop the Residence Inn/SpringHill Suites Chicago Downtown/River North in Chicago and the Fairfield Inn & Suites/SpringHill Suites Louisville Downtown, KY.
