BENNETT NAMED VP ECOMMERCE AND COMMUNICATIONS AT WHITE LODGING

Merrillville, IN (March 25, 2011) - Merrillville, Indiana based White Lodging recently announced that Michael Bennett has been promoted to VP, eCommerce & Communications overseeing the eCommerce and social media responsibilities of 155 hotels in both the full and select service divisions along with communications for Corporate headquarters.

A graduate of the electronic design program at the American Academy of Art, Bennett began his career in eCommerce in 1995. Throughout the years, he has worked for several different corporations in a variety of markets and has gained valuable experience, which he brings to White Lodging's owners. "Michael's knowledgebase and leadership have helped us not only catch up, but move ahead in this space," commented Chief Executive Officer, Dave Sibley. "We look forward to him leading us down this ever-changing path and at the same time, driving results and confidence with our owners."

For the past two years, Bennett served as the Director of eCommerce for White Lodging. During that time he has built the eCommerce division from the ground up resulting in the rollout of multiple programs, agency oversight and significant topline revenue growth. Additionally he has created a corporate communications strategy that is currently being implemented.
