Scott Paradine Named Director of Sales & Marketing

RICHMOND, VA (March 23, 2009) – The Richmond Virginia is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Paradine as director of sales & marketing to its leadership team.  Paradine joins the team to oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department while maintaining focus on the hotel’s strategic goals.

Paradine joins the Richmond Marriott Virginia from his most recent position as associate sales director for the Hyatt Regency Orange County in California.  Additionally, he has held various other key positions including sales manager at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center, meeting connections sales manager and assistant front office manager at the Grand Hyatt Washington, front desk manager at the Key Bridge Marriott Hotel.  He began his hospitality career as front desk clerk/operations departmental trainer at the Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta.
