Mr. Daub oversees the full service division of the company overseeing the vice president of revenue generation, three full service regional vice presidents and more than 25 full service hotels. He will retire on Dec. 31, 2016.
Prior to joining White Lodging, Mr. Daub spent more than 12 years as the president and chief operating officer of Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. He also spent time as the vice president of food and beverage and the senior vice president of operations with that company.
During his time with Winegardner & Hammons, the company won Marriott’s Service Excellence Award six times, Marriott’s Food and Beverage Excellence Award twice and Marriott’s Guest Focus Award three times.
A New Jersey native, Mr. Daub worked in a variety of hotel positions in high school and college. He graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, and has served as an assistant general manager and general manager at numerous hotels.
Mr. Daub strives to keep customers first in his focus on operations, and believes customer satisfaction is the key to repeat business, leading to long term success at a property.
He is a member of Marriott’s Rooms Advisory Board, the Renaissance Hotels Advisory Board and the Marriott Guestroom Design and Construction Committee.
